#1266 - imperfect repetitions
I don't know what I'll be able to write this morning.
The night has been unrestful, in and out of sleep and filled with weird dreams. I woke up with a sore throat and an aching head.
To be honest, the only thing I wanted to do was to lie on the couch doing nothing.
But then came that little voice in my head reminding me that days get even worse when I skip my morning practice. Plus, I called this blog "one apple a day", so let's hope the old saying works and will keep the doctor away.
Anyway, here I am, trying to figure out something to share. Ironically, even the computer is struggling this morning. But once I've decided to play, I won't stop.
Plus, I remember that the critical factor for the success of any habit is repetition and not perfection. Showing up and doing the work consistently is what really matters. Sure, some days it is easier than others. And sometimes, you have to deal with obstacles and maybe an outcome that is not as good as you'd like.
But if you keep doing it, you will reap the fruits.
